Minden To Host 21st Annual Bandfest

38 Nebraska Bands (a new Bandfest record) made up of 1466 students, will take the streets in Minden for the 21st annual Minden Bandfest on Saturday, October 15th. Bandfest is sponsored by the Minden Chamber of Commerce. Following the parade, 8 bands will then perform in the field competition at Kuper field.
Bands are coming from as far east as Yutan, NE, and Hershey, NE to the west. The smallest band is Amherst, consisting of 10 members. The largest band is Broken Bow, made up of 80 students.
The parade begins at 1:00 p.m.. From the staging area on west 1st street, the bands will proceed to Brown Avenue (hwy 10), turn north on Brown, and then west on 5th street proceeding back to the school.
