Minden Tops Cozad

The Minden Lady Whippets basketball team hosted the Cozad Haymakers on Friday in a Southwest Conference showdown on the floor of C.L. Jones Gymnasium. Minden improved to 16-3 with a 56-37 victory win over the visiting Haymakers.

Minden got two big performances from Brooke Kissinger and Rebecca Stewart scoring 43 total points Kissinger scored a team-high 22 points while Stewart added 21 including 16 in the second half.
