Minden Tops Loomis

The Minden Whippets girls basketball team picked up a win in the first round of the Minden Holiday Quad on Dec. 28.

Minden defeated Loomis by a score of 57-45 and will face Axtell in the second game.

Minden was led by Bailee Schurmann with a game high 21 points including seven three pointers. Sloane Beck added 13 points and Abby Rehtus chipped in with 10.
