MOH Hosts Watch Party for ‘Wolfes Go West’

Harold Warp’s Pioneer Village was featured on History Channel’s American Pickers on January 25. While viewers across the country tuned in to the show, many Kearney County residents came together for a watch party of “Wolfes Go West” at Minden Opera House.

The show’s stars, Mike Wolfe and Robbie Wolfe, filmed the segment at the museum last Spring after Pioneer Village Foundation board member Al Lux reached out to the History Channel’s officials. A production crew spent three days filming at Pioneer Village  touring the museum, speaking with Harold Warp’s grandchildren, Rebecca van der Woerd and Chris Warp, and searching for treasures in the excess inventory stored in the Village quonsets with board members Lux and Larry Wilcox.
