Morgan Kristensen Qualifies For Class C State Meet

The Minden Whippets girls golf team competed on Oct. 6 in the Class C-4 district golf meet held at JackRabbit Run Golf Course in Grand Island.
Morgan Kristensen was able to punch her ticket to the 2010 Class C girls state tournament field with a fifth place individual finish for the Whippets.
Kristensen was the only Whippet to make the 2010 C girls field which will be held Oct. 11-12 in Columbus at the Quail Run Golf Course.
Kristensen will end her Whippet career in the state tournament field when she tees off on at 11:06 a.m. to begin her two-day 36-hole event.
Kristensen shot an 88 at districts to earn her trip to the state to lead Minden at districts.
