The Minden Public Schools Board of Education had only two action items on the November 9 regular meeting agenda. The first was consideration of the 2019-20 district audit.
Superintendent Jim Widdifield shared a power-point presentation sent by Dana F. Cole. The district received an unmodified audit report and the district staff was complimented for their preparation of necessary documents.
The audit was slightly more complicated this year due to a federal audit and attendance numbers being thrown off due to COVID during the Spring semester. The 2019-20 district audit was approved. The board was informed they should expect a federal audit for the 2020-21 school year.
