The Minden Public Schools Board of Education held a special meeting on May 27 to consider a resolution to fill the board vacancy.
The resolution recognizes a vacancy on the board as a result of Katie Sinsel’s consecutive unexcused absences and the need for the board to appoint a legal voter of the school district to fill the vacancy. The resolution goes on to state the board appoints Darcie Reed to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term.
