MPS School Board Hires Hoyt As AD
The Minden Public Schools Board of Education approved the contract of Phil Hoyt for assistant high school principal and high school activities director at their meeting on Tuesday, May 8.
The school board also approved a motion to suspend Policy 3130 for the purchase of two route buses, per Policy 9230.
The buses recommended by the building and grounds committee are Cornhusker International 2013 IC-SE series buses, bought for $79,744 each. A portion of the money for the buses will come from First Bank and Trust of Minden for a 1.95 percent APR and a two-year, monthly pay contract.
