From their home kitchens to main street in Axtell, co-owners Jill Dahlgren and Tammey Frick of Kearney have made their dream a reality this past Memorial day weekend with the opening of Once Upon A Table…
Once Upon A Table… came to being when these two friends attended tabletop design seminars in Lincoln. Tables were decorated for all different types of celebrations by NE florists and designers. The two ladies loved the idea of getting to be creative by celebrating life’s special moments. After locating the Axtell building, this former barber shop has now become the new home of Once Upon A Table. The metallic tin ceilings and alot of paint and repair work done by Jill’s husband Rick,has made the building a charming place to host theme parties, serve desserts and the purple boutique room offers gifts, accessories and some specialty clothing.
