Parents and caregivers are invited to ‘What do I do if they don’t: Helping your child with challenging behaviors’ parenting seminar April 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Minden Opera House sponsored by Be the Gift Nebraska. Tickets can be purchased at the Minden Opera House for $5 in advance or at the door for $8. Lunch is included in the ticket price.
Many parents struggle with their children’s behavioral challenges. How parents respond to these challenges can determine whether there will be peace in the home or more and escalating battles. This workshop will address why children display defiant behaviors and provide new strategies for the common behavioral issues that plague every parent.
Dr. Matt McNiff will be the featured speaker at the event. He is nationally recognized in the field of behavior management and specializes in helping parents and school staff to address problematic behaviors and increase engagement time.
