As a financial consultant with Modern Woodmen, Kirk Peterson has assisted families, businesses, and individuals plan for the future for more than six years. In February, he moved his office to Minden in order to better serve his small town clientele.
“My wife and I wanted to live somewhere in between where we were both from. She’s from Ainsworth and I’m from Nelson so we moved to Axtell. I originally got my office in Kearney, but it wasn’t really where my clientele was. A small town community is what I really enjoy and what I was looking for. Those are my ideal clients,” Peterson said.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska Kearney in 2007, Peterson moved to Lincoln and soon joined with Modern Woodmen. The financial planning organization is distinguished from others of its ilk by its non-profit status.
