Community leaders held another phone conference on June 22 to discuss the continued COVID-19 pandemic. With much of the state, including Kearney County, moving into Phase 3 of reopening, many restrictions have been lifted or loosened.
Two Rivers Public Health Department Director Jeremy Eschliman told the group ‘we have reached the point where we can take a breath’ as reported positive cases are on the decline across the state. Katie Mulligan added Two Rivers is still receiving PPE for distribution, but in a much lower quantity.
