Pups 2nd Look Now Open
The Minden business community will be welcoming another new business in town with the opening of Pups 2nd Look located on East Highway 6/34.
Pups 2nd Look is owned and operated by Abbi Fielder. Fielder is not a stranger to the grooming business.
Fielder has worked in Kearney for Happy Trails Pet Lodge and Puppy Junction and Pawliday Inn in Hastings.
Fielder got her professional training in Loveland, Colo. taking a nine-week groomer’s degree from Classy Pet Grooming School.
Fielder settled on opening her business in Minden. “It just made sense to open my store here in town. The people and kids are nice. Minden is just a good community and I hope I can make the dogs and cats pretty in the community.”
Fielder was able to get her start opening her business with the help of local Rural Enterprise Assistance Project (REAP) business specialist Dena Beck. “Dena helped me get my ducks in a row, so I could make my dream come true.” Fielder also got the help of Carl Sinsel at Stadler Implement who owns the building in which Pups 2nd Look resides. She said Carl was great to work with and it was a long and hard transformation to get the building how Fielder wanted it to become.
