“Purses With A Purpose” Fundraiser

“Purses with a Purpose” is a local effort to give back to a worthy cause.  The Westminster United Presbyterian Church of Minden is planning an event to take place on Saturday, May 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Minden.  
Handbags of all kinds are needed to make this event a success. New or gently used handbags will work.  All efforts will remain local with the benefits for those who purchase your donated items and the recipients at the Crossroads Shelter in Kearney.
Purses can be dropped off at St. John’s Catholic, Holy Family Catholic (Heartwell), Bethany Lutheran, Westminster Presbyterian, Methodist Church, First Christian Church, Anderson Jewelry, Hissy Fit, Designs In Hair and My Fair Lady in Holdrege.
This event is not affiliated with a similar event to benefit the S.A.F.E. Center in Kearney.
