Recognition

The Minden Economic Development Advisory Council is proud to recognize progress and innovation in the community of Minden. On April 25, they awarded the following awards: Manufacturer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Friend of Minden to two local companies and one individual.
Receiving the Manufacturer of the Year Award for 2011 was Grayson Tool Company. Grayson Tool Co., a Minden manufacturer that moved to Minden in 1965, manufactures precision machine parts. Grayson’s economic growth, leadership in the community, and progressive attitude has set them apart as a local manufacturer. Grayson Tool Co. recently received funds through the Regional Reuse Plan for Economic Development to purchase a CNC lathe.
