Resident Participation Encouraged In Community Health Assessment

Kearney County Health Services and Two Rivers Public Health Department are working with community partners to complete a Community Health Assessment (CHA) for Kearney County. Resident participation is encouraged to ensure an accurate and beneficial evaluation of the County’s needs and assets.
The partners are working on two steps in the assessment process simultaneously in order to move forward more quickly. The data collection phase relies on citizen involvement for completion. A survey is available on both the KCHS and Two Rivers websites in English and Spanish or a physical copy can be obtained at KCHS.
Questions on the survey pertain to the public health of Kearney County. Feedback will help create goals and an action plan for individual entities within the public health system. Residents can help guide the hands of improvement in their communities by offering up their opinion through the public survey. The survey is open to everyone who lives or works in the area served by Two Rivers including Kearney, Buffalo, Dawson, Franklin, Gosper, Harlan, and Phelps Counties. Every individual can complete their own survey, it is not limited to one per household.
