The Minden Public Schools Board of Education met on March 13 in a short monthly meeting held in C.L. Jones Media Center.
The first item of business was to appoint Rusty Rhynalds to the school board for a two-year term. Rhynalds replaced Jeff Shelton who resigned effective February 28.
Rhynalds was the next highest vote getter in the most recent election and will fill the spot on the board until the next election in two years. The board unanimously approved the appointment.
