Bob was born in Minden on February 10, 1939 to Wesley and Avis (Reichstein) Cope. He grew up in Kearney and was a graduate of Kearney High School. A natural born salesman, his early ventures were in television and flooring sales. Ultimately he found his passion, spending 20 years driving down the open road. Always a story teller, he found humor in the little things that life gives.
Bob enjoyed the outdoors and was fond of nature, he was always happy to go out and feed the birds. His greatest love was with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his four children, Julie (Ron) Terrel, Marshall (Linda) Cope, Robert (Tammy) Cope, and Kyla (Benjamin) Jezbera; along with 7 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Marshall; and sister-in-law, Irene; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Monty.
