The nursing staff at the Kearney County Health Service’s Minden Medical Clinic wants to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be vaccinated for the flu this year.
Once again clinic is offering a drive through flu shot clinic on Wednesday, October 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The cost of the flu shot is $30 and patients must be 18 years of age or older and a current patient to use the drive through service.
The drive through shot clinic was last offered in 2008. Because of a shortage of flu vaccine, the event had to be cancelled last year.
The procedure couldn’t be easier.
Patients drive in the circle drive, the nursing staff will come to the car, ask a few medical questions, take the patients name and payment of $30 and give the vaccination. One, two, three and you are on your way.
