COVID-19 has had an impact on theaters and the Rose Bowl in Franklin is no exception. The CDC recommended closing in mid March and while the theater has served concessions several times throughout the summer and fall, it remains closed to movie goers with the closure providing the perfect opportunity to replace the theater seats.
The theater continues to be run by volunteers, with nine families serving on the theater board. Board members include Barry and Cynthia Rubendall, Terry and Deb Meade, Chris and Kathy Peterman, Nick and Melissa Haack, Adam and Heather Boettcher, Doyle and Kelsey Hanshaw, Chase and Fah Bislow, Ed and Patti Schurman and Dan and Elizabeth Burki.
