Royal Breaks Ground On New Expansion

Eighteen employees in blue shirts stood grinning in front of a large bulldozer on Thursday, June 30. Royal Engineered Composites celebrated groundbreaking on the first phase of their expansion.
Upon completion of all three Phases, Royal will have added 100,000 square feet which will include additional production space, clean rooms, and engineering and office spaces.  The Phase 1 expansion will house a 12,000 sq. ft. clean room for graphite/epoxy part production and will house Royal’s five autoclaves.
Royal will also be adding a new, extended, parking area. They also hope to continue expanding the workforce.
Royal’s equipment purchase list includes a 12’ X 30’ autoclave, a ply cutting table with conveyor system and is awaiting delivery of a Composite Waterjet Machining Center purchased earlier this year from Flow, Inc.
