Schwenka, Ayres, Blum Take 7th At FBLA National Competition

Minden FBLA traveled to San Antonio, Texas, for the National Leadership Conference held June 28 to July 3, 2012.  Nebraska was represented by 275 members, advisers, and guests who attended the conference to compete at the national level.
While in San Antonio, members had the opportunity to network with members from across the nation, listen to workshop presenters, and explore the city!  Minden FBLA members toured the Alamo, The Riverwalk, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, The Tower of the Americas, and spent a day at Six Flags.  At the conference, members had the opportunity to listen to Keynote Speaker Patrick Maurer, who inspired students to never lose the joy of childhood and never be afraid of dreaming outside the box.  Workshops were also offered ranging in topic from time management, to networking.
