Seniors Betrayed By Defense In Loss

The First Bank Seniors fell to 0-2 on the young season with a loss to Twin Plains Seniors 6-5 on Saturday, May 26.
First Bank jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and led 5-2 in the fifth, but seven errors helped Twin Plains score six runs on just five hits in the come-from-behind victory. First Bank starting pitcher Miles Steen struck out nine in his 4 1/3 innings of work and added an RBI single.
First Bank center fielder Thomas Sinsel led off the game with a double, moved to third when left fielder Isaac Carlson grounded out and scored on a passed ball to give the seniors the early lead.
