The First Bank Seniors fell 16-4 against Davenport-Edgar on Wednesday, June 13.
First Bank jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first. Mark Lundeen walked, Isaac Carlson followed with a single and Miles Steen singled as well. Landon Lempka doubled and Parker Ayres singled to complete the scoring.
But Davenport-Edgar’s first three batters of the first inning reached base before an out was recorded and they all came in to score off of Steen, leaving the game tied 3-3 after one.
First Bank went down quietly in the second, and D-E added four more runs on four hits and an error and led 7-3 after two.
