Seniors Fall To Cozad, 11-3

The First Bank and Trust Company Seniors lost on the road at Cozad on Thursday by a count of 11-3.
Miles Steen took the loss for the Seniors (2-6) allowing 11 hits in five innings of work.
First Bank led 1-0 after the top of the first after Steen tripled and scored on an RBI single from Colby Emal.
Cozad responded in the second with four runs to hold a 4-1 lead. First Bank added another run in the third when DeLaet walked and scored on Emal’s RBI single to make it 4-2.
Cozad added one run in the third and three more in the fourth to increase its lead to 8-2.
First Bank’s third and final run came in the top of the fifth when Emal singled. Emal was 3 for 3 at the plate with two RBIs. Emal scored on hit by Mark Lundeen to make it 8-3.
Cozad added three more runs in the bottom of the fifth to make the final score 11-3.
