After 100 years of serving the community as a local, family owned business, Stadler Implement of Minden is closing its doors at the end of the month. Customer service remains a high priority to the company and its employees throughout their final days.
“We’re liquidating everything. Everything in this building and outside has to go. We’re sending out a letter to our customers and suppliers to let them know what is happening and to ask them to settle their accounts by the end of the month,” manager and co-owner Carl Sinsel said.
Several pieces factored into the decision to sell the business. Sinsel had health issues lasting more than a year that kept him away from work, his co-owner Don Miller is at an age that he is ready to let the business go, and several years of a struggling farm economy have strongly affected sales.
