The Minden Public Schools Board of Education held their regular monthly meeting on October 14. Superintendent Jim Widdifield presented the district’s State of the Schools report for the 2018-19 school year.
The report showed a steady growth in the number of students over the years. In comparison to state averages, free/reduced numbers for the district were lower and special education percentages were slightly higher.
