With both a mother, Mandy, and father, Matt, who were in 4H in their youth, it was no surprise when Connor Strolberg joined the Keene Kids 4H Club. He started as a Clover Kid and was excited to graduate to a full 4H member so he could show animals.
“My dad got me started in 4H and I wanted to see if I liked it. I knew I liked doing the project part with painting and all that, but I hadn’t tried animals yet,” Connor said.
Although he has a pet rabbit that could be entered in the small animal competition, Strolberg wanted to start in the large animal ring. Sheep was his animal of choice and his parents obliged.
