Supervisors Discuss Heartwell Dairy Zoning

of Supervisors met at a regularly scheduled meeting at the Kearney County Courthouse on September 18.
They approved the minutes of the September 11 meeting and moved to pay bills and claims.
Geert Sikkenga of Halimage Dairy said he received a letter from the county zoning commission saying the zoning for the dairy had expired, “which of course is a big problem. I understood the dairy was grand fathered in, but if it stood empty for 36 months it expired.”
