The Kearney County Board of Supervisors began the March 2 regular meeting with a public hearing to vacate Lot #1 of Summer Haven Second.
Stan Blackmore from Miller & Associates explained they would like to move the property line closer to the actual occupation. After some discussion regarding the need to file the changes with Buffalo County, the public hearing was closed and the board adopted a resolution to vacate Lot #1 of Summer Haven Second.
Gravel bids were received from Broadfoot Sand & Gravel, Mid-Nebraska Aggregates, and Ed Broadfoot & Sons. All three bids quoted a rate of $8.25 per cubic yard, a slight increase from the previous year’s bids. All three bids were accepted by the board.
