Supervisors Learn Of TERC Ruling With KAAPA

The Kearney County Board of Supervisors had a light agenda for its first meeting of the month on Dec. 4.

The Supervisors opened the meeting as the Board of Equalization for a tax list correction hearing beginning at 9:25 a.m. Kearney County Assessor Linda Larsen was present to read off the tax list corrections to the board which they unanimously approved along with October 2 meeting minutes.

Kearney County Attorney Melodie Bellamy informed the board that she received a letter on or around November 30, telling the county that they had lost an appeal from KAAPA Ethanol, LLC to the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission (TERC) with their order.
