The Kearney County Board of Supervisors had a short agenda for the July 20 regular meeting.
Jerad Reimers from Adrian Smith’s office in Grand Island spoke to the board. He provided updates from Smith’s office and answered questions from the supervisors.
Tom Bokenkamp from Ace/Eaton Metals spoke to the supervisors about renewing its contract for culverts. He explained steel prices have gone up and it is difficult to determine where they will stop. Kearney County orders what they need as they need it and receives a discount. The board approved renewing the contract with Ace/Eaton Metals.
