Tech Club BBQ Football Contest
The Minden High School Tech Club will be hosting a fall sports bbq on Friday, September 14 beginning at 5:30 p.m. prior to the Whippet football game against Sandy Creek. The event will be on the west side of the Kuper Field by the concession stand featuring smoked brisket and pork, Miska Brats and hotdogs.
In addition to the bbq, Big John’s Ford and the Minden Booster Club are teaming up to raise funds for Minden activities by having a Pass, Punt and Kick competition at halftime of the Minden vs. Sandy Creek football game.
The tickets are three for $5 or $2 for one ticket. The lucky winner has a chance at picking up $30,000 for the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
