Temporary Emergency Room Entrance At KCHS

To facilitate the final phases of construction for the CT Scanner and heating and cooling retrofit at Kearney County Health Services, the emergency room entrance has been temporarily moved to the west entrance on Hull Avenue until further notice.
Patients needing emergency room services will see the large lighted white sign on the west side of KCHS directing them to the new entrance on Hull Avenue.
Minden emergency personnel and law enforcement have been notified of the change.
At the monthly hospital board meeting on Wednesday, board members were updated on the progress of the construction projects by representatives of Beckenhauer Construction.
The CT scanner project is on schedule to be completed in mid-June of this year.
