Tigers Tame Whippets 13-2

The Minden Whippets softball team had its three game win streak ended on Sept. 23 when the Class B Hastings Tigers came to Minden to take on the Dawgs at Augie Nelson Park.
Minden fell to Hastings for the second time this year by a score of 13-2 in five innings.
Minden falls to 4-12 on the season.
The Whippets sent Lily Steen to the mound on her birthday to take on the Tigers and she shut down Hastings in the first but in the second, the game changed.
