Tobiassen Sworn In As New Kearney County Magistrate

Laura Tobiassen has been hired as the new Kearney County Magistrate.
An alumni of Holdrege High School, Tobiassen has lived in Hildreth since 1998.
She worked for 11 years as the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office communications and corrections officer, and followed that with 10 years as the records clerk with the Holdrege County Court.
“I knew [my career] would always be in criminal justice,” Tobiassen said, “I really like and believe in it.”
