Transmission Line Right Of Entry Process Underway, NPPD Field Office Staffed

The Right of Entry process for soil testing and survey work for the NPPD Axtell to Kansas 345,000-volt transmission line is underway, and according to Mark Miller, NPPD communications specialist, the process is running smoothly.
NPPD held an informal breakfast meeting at the field office Thursday morning to give updates on ongoing project activities and introduce the right-of-way agents and other representatives who will serve landowners in the area.
The Minden field office opened a month ago and is located at 528 N. Minden Avenue.  The office will be staffed until the Axtell to Kansas project is completed in December of 2013.
Right-of-way agents Jeff Peterson, Billy Gilbert, Richard Bunkers and document specialist Kelly Gilbert staff the Minden field office.
