Trustees Approve Chargemaster Review Proposal

The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees considered two proposals during the August 3 regular meeting.

First was a chargemaster review proposal from ruralMED Management Solutions. Gavin Blum, CFO reminded the board KCHS has a chargemaster review done every three years. In the past, the review has been conducted by Lutz, but they have had some staffing changes.

A proposal from ruralMED for $24,000 was submitted for the chargemaster review. KCHS has utilized some of their services in the past and Blum expects a better review from ruralMED. The proposal was approved by the board.
