The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees addressed two pieces of new business during the December 18 regular meeting. First was consideration for the purchase of a TOSOH lab instrument.
Sue Driver explained to the board the current machine has had some problems causing delays in ER. The equipment has worked well up to this point, but it is time for an upgrade.
The proposed purchase of $17,730 is not on the budget list for the year as it is an unforeseen expense. The trustees approved the purchase.
