Trustees Approve Telemetry Upgrade Purchase

The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees met November 9. Kendra Brown, CNO presented a telemetry proposal for the board’s consideration.

This upgrade was planned when creating the capital budget. During the last telemetry purchase this upgrade was bypassed because it requires new wiring, but it is now necessary. All telemetry monitors will be connected to a central system. The board approved the purchase.

Luke Poore, CEO informed the board that with no Giving Day planned by the Kearney County Community Foundation this year, the Kearney County Health Services Medical Fund will be further discussing other opportunities, perhaps in the first quarter of the calendar year. Plans for this are in their infancy right now.
