Completion of the clinic entrance project has been delayed again by elevation issues. Architect Robert Junk provided an update of the project during the June 30 meeting of the Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees.
There were some issues meeting proper ADA elevations from the parking area when the cement was first poured for the project. Engineers from JEO resurveyed and redesigned the work and new cement was poured to correct the issues. During a survey of the newly poured work the cross flow for one parking stall and part of the sidewalk still exceeded the cross slope allowance for ADA compliance.
