Trustees Hear 2020 FYE Audit Review

Randy Hoffman from Seim Johnson presented the 2020 FYE Audit Review to the Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees during the August 26 meeting.  Despite hurdles caused by the coronavirus pandemic, KCHS had a good year.

Hoffman reported revenue grew faster than expenses during the year. The facility showed a positive increase to both its operating and total margins. Both improved from the last Fiscal Year.  Overall the audit review was positive and KCHS is showing good long term financial trends.

Work continues on the clinic renovation project with visible changes taking place on the exterior. Keith Sunderman from Beckenhauer reported exterior demo work has been completed on the north and grading has begun. The concrete contractor for the project recently backed out, but Beckenhauer has found a new contractor that will begin early next week.
