The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees held their regular monthly meeting on November 30. Following roll call and approval of the November 9, 2022 minutes, the board turned to old business.
Luke Poore, CEO provided progress updates on capital purchases made in the last six months. Grant money was used to expand Pyxis pharmacy equipment. The equipment is on site with a plan to install next week. The new ultrasound/ECHO equipment is scheduled to arrive at the end of December and applications training to begin the first week of January.
The infusion/syringe pumps are expected to be ready to go in February 2023. Operating room lighting is still in queue, and scheduled to likely occur in December. Installation of new telemetry monitors has begun in patient rooms, but the installation of the central system and other pieces will take place later in 2023.
After the updates, the board heard reports. Poore shared that the Kearney County Medical Fund will be meeting next week as they have not met since the last Board of Trustees meeting held a few weeks ago.
