Upland 125th Anniversary Celebration Is August 3

Upland will have its 125th Anniversary Celebration on August 3 and everyone is invited. The theme of the day is ‘Our Roots Run Deep’ and there will be plenty of activities and entertainment for all ages throughout the day.

The Seth Johnson Memorial Tractor Drive organized by the Upland Volunteer Fire Department will start things off in the morning. Those interested in participating can register at 9:00 a.m. in front of Boldt Seed on Main Street. Registration is $15 per tractor and $5 per person on wagon. The Tractor Drive will begin at 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be provided by Herrick Ag Solutions-Precision Planting. The drive will return to Upland by 1:00 p.m. All benefits will go to the family of Seth Johnson.
