The Harold Warp Pioneer Village Foundation (Foundation) Board of Directors celebrated their favorable ruling from the Nebraska Supreme Court by announcing a $1 million dollar challenge gift to help get the museum get back on its feet. The donor has offered to match all unrestricted donations from private individuals and businesses to the nonprofit organization from now through 2014 up to $1 million dollars.
“We are very happy about the ruling from the high court and the opportunity this challenge grant provides, “stated Foundation board member and local banker Larry Wilcox of Minden. “Pioneer Village is a valuable part of Kearney County and fulfills an important mission of preserving and sharing our history in this country.”
