Wilcox-Hildreth was much more dominant in its second game of the opening weekend and moved to 2-0 with a 54-26 defeat of Sumner-Eddyville-Miller on November 30 again in Wilcox.
As was the case in the previous game, the Falcons got out to a rousing start, leading 21-8 at the end of one quarter. SEM then closed the gap a bit in the second period, outscoring W-H 13-10 but the Falcons still were up by ten, 31-21, at halftime.
W-H’s defense pitched a shutout in the third period and ended the quarter up by 19 as a 9-0 advantage led to a 40-21 lead. Then strong again in the fourth, the Falcons closed the contest outpointing the Mustangs 14-5.
