WATER EMERGENCY Declared For The City of Minden

The City of Minden has declared a Water Emergency from 5 p.m. Sunday, August 22 to 5 p.m. Friday, August 27.  The emergency is being declared to complete the work on the aerators at the water treatment plant.  During the work on the aerators, water consumption will be from stored water.  All water customers are hereby ordered to discontinue the use of outside water beginning on August 22 at 5 p.m. and to limit inside water use.  
The Water Emergency will continue in effect to the aforementioned date and time.  
Any person in violation or that refuses to comply with the declaration of a water emergency shall be deemed guilty of an offense of the provisions set forth in Ordinance #1101 and upon conviction be fined a penalty not to exceed $500.00
