The Kearney County Health Services Board of Trustees met December 30 with two new business agenda items.
A rooftop unit over the laundry needs repairs. Maintenance Supervisor Lenny Ginder explained there are two options: replace the entire unit or install a part to add electric heat and help regulate air return. A proposal for the part and installation for just over $8,000 was approved by the board.
A proposal for hallway flooring was presented to the trustees. The proposal for $17,331 is to replace hallway flooring where necessary throughout the facility so the hallway is cohesive throughout. The flooring project is expected to begin in late January. The proposal was approved.
