Whippet Girls Win At Lochland

The Minden and Aurora golf teams traveled to Lochland Country Club in Hastings on Thursday for the Hastings triangular golf meet. Minden won the varsity meet shooting a season-low 185 team score for the nine-hole event, three strokes better than Class A Hastings High School. Aurora came in third with a 225.
Jessica Rehtus led the Whippets shooting a very impressive 44 for the day. Jessica’s score included a 40-yard chip for par on the fourth hole. Allie Geist carded a 46 while Paige Kristensen finished with a 47.
