Whippet Golfers Open 2011 Season

The Minden Whippets varsity and junior varsity golf teams opened their 2011 spring season on Thursday by competing in the Adams Central triangular with the Patriots, Wood River Eagles and the Whippets.
The teams were greeted by windy and warm conditions at the Southern Hills Golf Course outside Hastings.
Adams Central Red won the team title with a score of 176 followed by the Whippets with a 198 and Wood River was third with a 206. The Minden JV team placed fifth with a score of 240.
